I fell in love with a dress...

Completely impractical and I have no occasion to wear it but I adore this monochrome dress from Karen Millen, which I saw in Elle magazine while we were away. I even tore out the page to remind me to check it out when I was back in the land of wifi. I was sure it would be in the sale...but it isn't and anyway, it's all sold out in my size. Just as well at £200 I guess :)
But while I was on the Karen Millen site, I had a lovely time perusing what is in the sale. Here are my favourite pieces...

First up - this zig zag dress is very Missoni and I could see it working year round - not just in spring/summer:
Zig Zag Print Dress - £95
And these pointy flats are just fab - also available in yellow but I think I prefer the red:
Flat Slingback - £40
You can't go wrong with a basic white t-shirt and the quality will be lovely in this one:
Luxe Sheer Back Oversize T-Shirt - £20
And if a peep-toe boot has been on your wish list for autumn, these ones are stunning:
Punched Leather Peep Shoe Boot - £50
This leather clutch looks gorgeous - really well reduced and Karen Millen's leather goods are always top notch:
Large Soft Leather Clutch - £60
These leggings get a great review and I've definitely seen another blogger rave about them (though I can't remember who!) Again, if you had a pair of leather look trousers in mind, these give the leather look from the front with a more flattering (and stretchier) jersey on the rear.
Faux Leather Jersey Leggings - £55
I've said it many times before, always look for premium denim during the sales. These are very similar to my Maison Scotch ones, though there are only size 12's left as I type:
Distressed Skinny Jeans - £65
and finally - I have a soft spot for Karen Millen trench coats. I invested in one about 4 years ago and it still looks great:
Textured Cotton Coat - £135

Ok - enough temptation....I need to focus on saving for Boston!!

Finishing with what I wore today - the sun came out and so did the toes:

Top - F&F at Tesco (in the sale!)
Jeans - Gap Outlet
White Vest - Gap Outlet
Platform Sandals - JD Williams (I love these for height without the pain - they're so good, I've just ordered the black colour way for nights out)
Floral Necklace - SGS Shop

Hope you got some sunshine today also!
