Lazy Sundays

The Bank Holiday weekend rain finally stopped yesterday so I was out the door as quick as I could with the kids. We headed over to Holywood, parked at the Dirty Duck and walked over to Seapark. It was just what the doctor ordered - a dose of sea air and a chance to burn some energy off (in the case of the kids). It's easy to forget how beautiful the coastline around Belfast is and we're so lucky as it's just minutes from the house.

I wore this new zig zag top I got from Call Me Pretty Boutique - a brand which has featured on the blog before. It's a great independent boutique based in Norton but with much of their stock online too. They stock two of my favourite brands - Vila and Vero Moda, so I check in regularly to see what's new and the last time I did, I spotted this zig zag beauty for just £10. An interesting addition to the wardrobe after my most recent stripe obsession post. I reckon this top looks like the stripes have been out on the town the night before ;) UPDATE 5/5/15 - the top has sold out...sorry if you missed out
It's a top that will look great dressed up with a blazer and heels but for a windy walk by the sea, it got the dressed down version - trainers, parka and cross body bag...

Top - Vero Moda @ Call Me Pretty (reduced to £10 and limited stock!)
Parka - Warehouse (past season - similar here on sale & here)
Skinny Jeans - Gap Forever Stretch Legging (outlet)
Tassle Necklace - SGS Shop
Black Croc Effect Leather Trainers - Dune
Black Leather Cross Body - Gap (seems to be on 30% off this weekend with RELAXGAP)

The rain was back for the afternoon so while the kids watched a movie, hubby and I finally got started on a job that's been on the to-do list since the move...hanging stuff on the walls. Including this round mirror which I'd earmarked for our porch. Perfect for checking the lippy and hair before dashing out the door and a fab new 'selfie' spot too!

Enjoy your Bank Holiday Monday - we're off to cheer on the Belfast Marathon runners. What a great day they're getting for it...perfect running weather. Good luck to all taking part and God bless your healthy knees! x
