Jacket - Boden Scarf - Savida @ Dunnes (old) Jeans - Gap Boyfriend Pumps - M&S (similar) Handbag - LK Bennett |
With the weather we're having at the moment, it's hard to believe this was just a couple of days ago!
Anyway, I was heading into Belfast on this trip on a hunt for a cream top to go with a jacket I am planning to wear for Britmums. Brought the kids, which may have been a mistake. In any case, I got a changing room in House of Fraser & brought in 5 cream tops which I tried on in super fast speed while my kids tripped me up, asked about my wobbly tummy in loud voices and peeped under the partition at the other women. So you'll forgive the slightly hassled photos!
First two - Wal-G - not online (similar) - too heavy for summer, Miss Selfridge - too gapey under the arms
Next - Mango (not online) - didn't like the frayed neckline, Linea - peplum too high for my long torso
The last one I tried on was from Oasis and it was perfect! Lace on the front, jersey cotton on the back. Fitted enough but not too tight, nice shade of cream and with 20% off. Sold. And worn yesterday in the charity shop...and I brought the baby with me too!
Lace T-Shirt - Oasis Boyfriend Jeans - Gap as above Sandals - LK Bennett (Banbridge Outlet) Handbag - The Prada 'Baby' Necklace & Bracelet - Birthday gifts (thanks Sharon!) I hope you're having a fantastic week and that there's sunshine where you are. Until tomorrow...x |

ReplyDeleteLoving your hair too - have you changed it? Has it grown? Is the colour different again?
Well spotted - I put a colour on it..just before the birthday - to hide all the greys! x
DeleteSuch a pretty top ... and clearly Prada goes with everything dahling!!!
ReplyDeleteTop looks lovely with your baby xx
ReplyDeleteLove the top!! I'm always short of basics like that, it's the sort of thing you could do with buying half a dozen at a time!!
ReplyDeleteI love your colour mixes & I'm so going to try harder to do the same! The top is gorgeous! I like the Mango one too! Feel sorry for myself atm so may need a spot of retail therapy to cheer myself up! Love your new baby too! ;) Ax
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrea - and yes, shopping cures all sore fingers I reckon. Hope you're feeling better soon x
DeleteI really like the way you have mixed up the shades....it looks really lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe top is a great little buy too! xx
Now seeing it on I think you have Lund the perfect black bag......casual with cross body strap for day, smarter as grab for more formal.....you achieved what I've never managed, it's really perfect and timeless. Oh and I love a cream lace top as you well know.
ReplyDeleteThank you - you couldn't really appreciate it on the last post. I've worn it loads - day and night. Really pleased with it! x
DeleteThat would be "found" not "Lund"
ReplyDeleteCould you have a more perfect bag? Love, love, love. And the cream lace top is a winner. I'm on a lace mission at the moment - I need to fulfill my Miss Havisham fantasies.
ReplyDeleteHaha -I want to see that lace dress on you! x
