I had a couple of nights out last week and a quick turnaround meant I had to adapt what I was wearing that day for the evening as I just didn't have time to completely change. I tend to dress like that day to day actually - picking up something from the previous day and changing the look a bit. It's just easier, especially during holidays when I'm not sure what we're going to do the next day (or indeed what the weather's going to throw our way). So this is Wednesday's - the first part of the day was spent wearing stripes, boyfriends and my new lightweight parka..
Lightweight Parka - Target Dry (available online w/c 15th April) Boy Fit Jeans - Gap Navy Suede Ankle Boots - Marks & Spencer Navy/White Stripe Top (old) - Tu @ Sainsburys White Top (layered underneath) - Primark Glasses - Firmoo |
Layers were the order of the day beneath this parka, which I got from a local company called Target Dry. As well as it being on trend, it's waterproof, windproof and breathable and therefore has been recruited as my spring/summer Merrell replacement.
Loving the Boden-esque lining..
Also debuting my new hair on this post. I got it darkened last week - only one shade darker in the hairdresser's book but it's lots darker in reality. My hair lightens so much between colours so it should be the perfect brunette shade in a couple of weeks. Great to get the greys covered up again.
Tomorrow, I'll share how just a few hours after these photos were taken, I was ready to go out with some friends in Day to Night - Part 2. I know the sequels are normally really disappointing but I promise this one's fabulous!!
Hope Easter was a welcome break for everyone. Easter Tuesday is actually a holiday in Northern Ireland as most businesses don't take Good Friday as a holiday. But the charity shop is open so I'll be putting my favourite picks from it up on their Facebook page tomorrow. x
UPDATE - My Parka will be available online during the week commencing 15th April. I'll pop a link up here when it is. It retails at £68.98 but there will be a special discount for SGS readers when it launches. Watch this space!
Oh wow to the inside of the parka - that is gorgeous!
