So I had 10 minutes to get ready for a blogger evening in the Inglot store in Victoria Square and in those 10 minutes I was assisted by two 4 year olds…you can guess how well that went! With my friend outside waiting for me, I threw on the first dress that was on top of the pile on the chair in the bedroom. Please tell me you have a pile on a chair in your bedroom….every woman should have a pile of clothes on a chair in their bedroom. If they don't, their life is not exciting enough…that is all. Anyway, it was the dress I wore to the Vintage Fair on Sunday so I'll not focus on the outfit and instead share some photos of the event…
The talented Nicky Whitten who worked his magic on blogger, Louise Vance (with another of my blogging buddies, Niamh Kelly in the back ground!) |
Not sure what everyone is laughing at here but don't they all look lovely! More FABB bloggers in this pic - Cathy Flannery, Claire Louise & Aine O'Hagan. |
Amazed at the range of false lashes - something I've never tried…I need to after seeing these. If you've never been to an Inglot store, the concept is great. Essentially, it's a very affordable range of make-up..but the beauty (check the pun!) in the ingot system is that you can assemble your own palate using the Freedom System. Pick only the colours that you use on your face and have them assembled into one palate. No waste, rechargeable and affordable. Also, at point of sale, you're being assisted by fully qualified make up artists who can advise you on the best colours and on how to apply them correctly. |
The new Rainbow Eye Shadows - three for the price of one and so versatile as Nicky demonstrated. We were lucky enough to have our pick of any two colours to take home. |
Now for the outfit shot - focus instead on the lovely Gemma Louise in her first ever vintage purchase (from Sunday's fair!) She proudly told me it was really old - from the 1970's…sob….she calls me blogmama - I should just accept that I'm vintage too... |
Thanks to the Inglot Belfast Team for a great night out and for my bag of freebies that I can't wait to try! |
