Floral Jeans for Daytime

I hope you enjoyed yesterday's joint post with Joanna from Poppy's Style & Beth from Style Guile. In it, we all styled the same pair of floral jeans from Primark. Would you like to see more of these joint posts? Let me know...I know we enjoyed creating it!
Today, I thought I'd show you how I've been wearing those same jeans during the day. As I mentioned yesterday, I wasn't that keen on them when I brought them home but I've totally fallen in love with them and they've been worn loads. Because of the joint post though, I had to save the photos until now!
Here I am at the National Trust's Mount Stewart house in Newtownards. Gorgeous property...so lovely to finally visit it. Here are the steps up to the main house, which are covered in little pink daisies growing from every crevice. Mr SGS was itching to get some Weedol out!
So today, I wore the Primark floral jeans with a white loose fit top from H&M, layered over a white long line vest from Kaleidoscope. Also sporting my Vintage Pintage navy handbag and a neutral scarf from H&M. It was a gorgeous day but there was a nip in the air so the scarf was nice to have.
What's great about  these jeans is that there's some black in the print, so they look great with my black patent leather ballet pumps from Clarks.
Earlier in the day, I had my M&S denim jacket on but it was a bit too warm for it when the photos were taken. Here is an earlier photo though of me with the children at the Mount Stewart car boot sale, which was running in the grounds when we arrived. The kids had a great time choosing some new books and jigsaws. There were lots of children running stalls, selling off their old toys - great to see that entrepreneurship at a young age!
Oh, and I picked up a brand new DKNY wallet for £3! I figured my spending ban could be lifted for the price of a posh coffee :)

  4. Darling. I wore floral pants (trousers, excuse my American version) and jeans to death in the 90s (oh, my...) but I do love them on everyone I have seen them on recently, especially the way you have worn them here.

I don't think I will be dipping into the floral jeans phenomena of late, but I do plan on enjoying the styles those of you who are dipping! :)
