Too Bling for Saturday Shopping?

I hope so! In defiance of the weather, I've donned my orange jeans & navy sequin top from H&M. Fed up of all the winter gear being worn again and as it's dry today, I'm going for it!
Check out my gorgeous Uniquely Different necklace, which was on the catwalk only a month or so ago and now I own it! Check out UD's Facebook page to see all the new pieces Karen & Claire have been making..
Also wearing my Marks & Spencer denim jacket. Out of stock now unfortunately but it was such a find - in Per Una, where I don't normally look but was glad I did that one day back in May.
Off now to buy a birthday present ahead of a Hello Kitty themed birthday party later. My girls are beside themselves with excitement....please let there be wine and cakes for the mummies!

  2. Loving this look. I have exactly the same style denim jacket (no collar), but mine was from Rocha John Rocha at Debenhams (may still have them in stock). Orange really compliments the blue.

    1. Thank you! I have tried a few different colours with the orange but the navy definitely works best. Will have a look at JR for your jacket - would be good to share the link on here. Thanks for the tip-off, Avril xx

  3. I have that sequin top too, I love it, it was a great price, but I often put it on then take it straight off as it does feel a bit bling for daywear sometimes! Looks great though.

    1. I was unsure all day but the jacket over it I think makes it easier to wear. I'm looking forward to wearing on a night out too...would love to find some fierce navy shoes to match! THanks for your lovely comment, Avril x

  4. I actually bought the same sequin top (in navy) for £5 the other day! Great minds... Wore it out on Thursday night and it was much admired (especially for the bargainous price!). Hope the party was fun and there was a cheeky glass of wine for the mummies!

    1. Thanks Lily...I'm in love with the necklace and love that it's the only one of it's kind! The jacket was such a find. A friend has one also - she saw mine and rushed to Sprucefield and got the last one. It sold out online really fast also. Shame...wish they would get more in. Thanks for your lovely comment, Avril x

  13. Taking inspiration from your outfit. Whilst I'm not wearing the bling, I'm stepping out in orange jeggings (M&S sale) and my navy scoop T (Autograph at M&S) accessorised with a navy and white spotted scarf (from an old Per Una top) and my navy Birkenstocks (T K Maxx find) to show off my LD Coral Reef toenails courtesy of Harper's Bazaar magazine. I'm feeling good!
