A Favourite Dress

This post was inspired by a photo on Avenue 57, where Fiona was wearing a dress bought 5 years ago that she loves and wears throughout the year. I got to thinking about my favourite dress - the one I wear most often, winter and summer - you've seen it before here but never in such a ridiculous pose...

My 8 year old directed today's pictures and told me to pose like Supergirl in front of the garage. Anything is preferable to the cajoling required of the 3 year old. 
So my favourite dress was bought at Harrison Clothing (Belfast & Online) last year. The make is Maisy and you can pick up other items from this clothing range on iClothing.ie, a great site I found yesterday.
Jeans are from French Connection, Shoes from Deichmann. A few people have asked about my blue shoes and they are out of stock in Deichmann but I love these from Clarks, which are similar:

I got this great belt from Oasis to wear with this dress. It's a gorgeous shade of green but I bought the wrong size and only realised when I went to put it on yesterday! So I had to do some last minute engineering to allow me to wear it. Don't laugh - it worked for me!

  9. Wow - if I had to pick one dress I have no idea which one it would be but I guess a versatile one, so maybe my shirt dress because I've been able to wear it so many ways.
