Work to Casual

Today I decided to dress a bit smarter as I was working for a few hours while the twins were at playgroup. I was keen to try out my new blazer from ASOS so I paired it with the suitcase scarf (as seen on this earlier post), and a cosy knitted dress underneath. 

It's funny how many people commented on my smarter appearance - someone even asked if I was going for a job interview :)

It didn't take me long to get changed when I got home - I'm just not used to wearing heels for long periods of time anymore. Switch the tights for jeans and the silk scarf for a casual scarf and I'm ready for the school run. Oh, and yes, they are bootleg jeans - I'm all skinnied out today :)

The suitcase scarf has apparently sold out on ASOS since I posted about it last week. I'd love to think my blog caused that but I only know of two followers who bought it so it's unlikely! Claire was kind enough to send me a picture of hers though - looking good with black skinny jeans and a boyfriend cardigan:
