Leopard Print & A Fab Necklace

I was all ready to get some photos of what I wore today and it suddenly got very dark and the skies opened. So much for that photographic 'golden hour' before sunset...we went straight from afternoon to night in about 20 minutes!

Instead you're getting some pictures of what I wore on Saturday night to our friends' house for their annual Christmas Quiz. Karyn does an amazing job each year coming up with challenging questions and brilliant music rounds that get harder with every glass of wine... 

But what to wear? Well, Christmas jumpers were suggested but I just can't bring myself to buy one so I went for a smart casual look with leopard and boyfriend jeans:

I accessorised with this stunning necklace I got as a gift from another friend, Aisling, who also has an online jewellery website. We met up recently for a coffee and a chat and to share our different experiences sourcing stock for our websites. Aisling has some lovely stock and it's all different to mine - well worth checking out. 

It's a brushed silver effect mosaic necklace and the pieces all move independently so it sits really nicely on the neck. I've actually worn it a few times since I got it and it looks just as nice with a breton top or a shirt for a daytime look.

And for the record, I found a couple of stylish girls in their Christmas jumpers...apparently the key is to wear over a cute party dress and whip it off when things hot up!
