I'm back after a glorious couple of weeks off. We had a great time on the North Antrim coast staying in our friend Anna's holiday house. She very kindly let us use it in exchange for Mr SGS giving the garden a good going over. A most excellent arrangement.
We spent most of the first week on the beach as the weather was so glorious. The second week was mixed weather wise so we visited the Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede bridge, Derry/Londonderry - the UK City of Culture, Barry's Amusements (a Northern Ireland institution) and finally, the biggest hit with the kids, Poundland in Coleraine, the best and least expensive place to spend a rainy Tuesday afternoon (total cost - £3).
I took photos on 9 of the days and the rest of the time I must have worn the same stuff or totally forgotten about photos. :)
So here we go for a photo-heavy round-up...hope you enjoy!
