Last Day of Term & Sale Sandals from Clarks

Can you believe that it's the last day of the school year here in Northern Ireland?! Until the 3rd September. I'll do the math for you ... that's 9 weeks. <faint>.
Of course, to cheer all the mammies up and to make the 9 weeks feel like 9 months, it's bucketing rain today. So the Target dry parka came out for a run and I needed it every time I stepped out of the car today.
Parka - Target Dry (15% off with SCHOOLGATE15)
Jeans - Primark (SS12) similar
Patent Pumps - M&S similar
White Top - H&M
Necklace - School Gate Style Shop
Handbag - Prada
It seems to be trying to dry up a bit now thankfully as we are going to an outdoor party later....an interesting outfit challenge though as it's quite cold. I'll let you know what I wore on my next post but any ideas or tips welcomed!
As I was prepping this post, I read on Facebook that the Clarks sale has extended to sandals today and although I'm on a shopping ban, I had a little look - in the interest of research of course! I've had my eyes on these beauties and missed when they were reduced to £16.50 in the Debenhams sale but at £39.99, I'm still holding out. Well, I'm not really...I'm on a shopping ban so I can't buy them until the end of July. But maybe they will be even more reduced by then <hopeful>
Sarina Betty (also in tan)
There's a really cute colour combo on these next flat sandals - they're also available in black/gold - and how comfy do they look? Well reduced also, to just over £20:
Parasol Glitz
These ankle strap sandals are a fantastic bargain at under £20. Very on-trend and a very wearable black/metallic combination:
Sail Away
LOVE these wedges - the colour, the straps, the shape and thanks to the sale, I'm loving the price a bit more now!
Silky Sweet
I was discussing snake print shoes with Joanna from Poppy's Style this week. I'm not a fan of an all-over snake print shoe but I do like these strappy sandals and I can't deny that snakeskin is a great neutral option...
Studio Beat
Finally (as I can't take anymore of this window shopping!) the first shoe I featured also comes in a slightly more open version - the Sarina Bowes, which is also available in black..
Sarina Bowes
Looking at this post on preview, I could happily buy all of them. I think that might go some way towards explaining the spending ban. Time to turn off the computer and work out what to wear later...oh and entertain the kids! Till next time x

  2. If anyone is looking for the Clarks Sarina Bettys, there are some on http://www.meeksshoes.co.uk/store/product/203870/Clarks-Sarina-Betty-black-combi-ladies-sandal/ at £27.49 now. I'm that close to clicking the button myself.

Have a good weekend Avril and a good 9 weeks/months. That is a long time isn't it? We only have 6 weeks here and that feels like an eternity.

  3. 9 weeks?! I feel your pain. That's just way too long. That's similar to the US summer holiday. I'm loving the current Clarks collection. Usually the designs are boooorrrring but they really nailed it this year.

  4. What a shame you've got such crappy weather and are having to dress in Autumn clothes in June - I'm the same today!

Ours break up a week today - so I feel your pain with the 9 weeks! We'll have to try and keep ourselves sane online!

  11. I bought a pair of very similar jeans from Monsoon today, I love them. Can't believe your children have broken up from school already! It's 23rd of July for mine and he's 17 so not much impact on me these days but I do remember what it was like trying to entertain and hold down a job back in the day, good luck & best wishes :)

  12. I don't know what I'd do without my parka - at the time £65 seemed a lot for me to spend, but the wear it's had - it was a bargain! I say roll on the holidays (although not quite 9 weeks for us poor teachers;)) Hope the sun comes soon to enjoy some of these sandals!
