Butterflies, Blush & Ballet Flats!

At long last - ballet flats! How exciting to wake up to sunshine and a balmy 8 degrees, meaning I could just about get away with ballet flats. I'll be honest, I was chilly in them when I stood out for the photographs but for a busy day in and out of the car, they are perfect and I've already met one woman in similar attire, so I don't feel too out of place. I know I'm going to meet many other women in knee length and ankle boots but I like to think they'll wished they'd been brave enough to get their ankles out too :)

Grey/Green Patent Pumps - M&S (from the January Sales)
similar here & here

Necklace - Freedom @ Topshop
Blush Longline Jersey Top - New Look (similar here & here)
Butterfly Scarf - Warehouse
Boy Fit Jeans - Gap
Parka - Target Dry (available 15th April)
Ok, I'm off for 3 hours with 10 energetic 9 year old boys.
The only thing keeping me going is knowing I get a slice of this at the end of it!

Have a great Sunday x

  1. You're bonkers!!! It's not warm enough yet for ballet flats. I've changed from boots to Converse and even still my feet are a bit chilly! Come September you'll be longing for your boots again, lol! Have a lovely day ... that cake looks delish:)

    1. Haha - I want to be the first to fly the ballet pumps flag. But I know I'll be in the ankle boots on and off for at least another month....feet are still defrosting! Hope you had a good weekend Helen, Ax

  2. Quite right getting your ankles out. I always long to get my legs and feet out to let them breathe and see some daylight after a long winter. I'm also wearing ballet flats but I really want to be in sandals! :)

    1. Aw....I couldn't have worn them if I was out and about too much to be honest. Fleece lined boots are still a necessity unfortunately. Hopefully not for much longer, Ax
