House of Fraser & Warehouse Bargains!

After I'd sussed out fab boots to wear with my Merrell yesterday, I headed to House of Fraser to use a voucher that was burning a hole in my pocket. And boy, did my ankle boots feel uncomfortable after my Ecco experience - see, you spoil your feet and then they get attitude when you put them back in fashion shoes!
So I was looking for tops this visit and brought a few into the changing room…
First up is this WalG asymmetric breton top. Reduced to £10, it looked ridiculous on the hanger but I thought it might work better on a body. When I tried it on, my stripe OCD kicked in a bit…loved the shape but I didn't like the stripes going sideways BUT I like it more now I've seen the picture. Anyway, I didn't purchase. Might go back depending on your comments!
Another WalG one that I've shown on the blog before…and one my sister in law owns, hence my reluctance to buy. I do like it a lot but it's very similar to one I already have (without studs). So I had a brainwave that I'll buy some studs on eBay (gun metal ones) and customise mine. Watch this space - tho it may be a long wait..I am not known for my customising/craft/sewing flair..
Next up a Warehouse studded top in a grey/mauve colour. This is a colour that I LOVE and I usually buy all decently priced items when I see them in this shade. This one was down to £17. It has a chiffon back and pewter studs on both shoulders. I'll give you a better look when I wear it next.
Jeans throughout - Diesel (TK Maxx)
Boots - River Island (past season)
This last one is another Warehouse number in a stunning shade of purple. Sorry about the photo quality…I was nearing school pick up time so was getting a bit fitting room frantic. Anyway, like the mauve number, it's lighter weight so easier integrated into my spring summer wardrobe. It's got side zips and the back is quite a bit longer than the front so a perfect bum covering top. It was down to £10. So I only actually spent £2 after I cashed in my gift card. Thanks Mr SGS <mwah>
I'll leave you with a couple of things that caught my eye as I whizzed around House of Fraser. They're on 70% blue cross now until Sunday so there are some great bargains to be had.
Lola Rose Scarfs - down to a slightly more palatable £27.50 (lots more styles in store than online)
Loved these Pied a Terre cross body satchel style bags in grey marl and black leather. I think they were down to about £70 but they're not available online so I can't verify that - sorry
Finally, from the new range at Warehouse, this striped jumper caught my eye (only seems to be available in the blue colour way online atm). My favourite shades of mauve, with taupe and grey…love love love it. It's on the SS13 wish list!

Have a great weekend. I'm off for my first G&T in a month...
