Primark Haul & Kid-free Lunch

A fault in the car was inconvenient, however I always try to look on the bright side and in this case, it was the fact that the garage is right beside Primark! Result! Here's my haul...
I've worn the blue jeans, white vest and necklace lots since I got them (as you'll know if you read this blog every day) but I've yet to share the pictures of my first outing in the mint coloured metallic top. What a find for just £7!

A friend offered to take the twins so Mr SGS and I headed to Lily's on the Lisburn Road for a bite of lunch and a glass of wine - what a treat! Here I am v excited outside Lily's...and of course, it rained...no surprise there...

This top is one of those great finds you come across in Primark now and again. It's got a subtle metallic pattern on the front only, with jersey on the back - but not the clingy jersey you sometimes get in these tops. Instead, it's a more flattering heavy jersey. There's also an exposed zip detail on the back. It's a great wee top for the price and I love it with this statement necklace, which our waitress wanted to know all about!
The menu was brilliant - a light lunch and a glass of wine for £8! Can't beat it with a big stick....just like Primark really. Which reminds me, thanks for all the great comments on my Tall Girl post yesterday. I was so glad to be able to let you know about Primark's tall range - I predict a sell out this week, thanks to Rachel's recommendation!

    1. Hi there and sorry it's taken me so long to reply. The quality is good though it does differ between the different brands of course. Like Fiona from Avenue 57 says below, what makes it is the customer service so returns are not a problem if you change your mind. Let me know if you buy anything! Avril x

    1. Well I'm biased of course!! It was £112 sterling which I think is amazing for a bag of that quality. Have used it loads since. There aren't many outfits it doesn't work with though I would say it's not quite as versatile as a light tan colour. How much was it in Kildare? Avril x
