An Evening with Poppy D

I was delighted to be invited along to hear Poppy Dinsey talk last night about her fashion blog, What I Wore Today. Poppy has grown this blog from a personal record of what she wears every day to a social network site where users from all over the world upload pictures of themselves and what they are wearing...see, it's not just me who takes pictures every day! This is what I wore to the event...

Black jeans from Miss Selfridge, Blazer from ASOS, Silky top from Marks & Spencer (sale stock so not available online), Shoes from New Look, Necklace - old (from a local boutique).

It was inspirational to hear Poppy talk about how she's built her business. And her secret? HARD WORK! This girl has some amount of stamina. She never stops going, interestingly, carrying out as much research & study every day as she did when studying for her degree.

Poppy wore a dress by NorLisa and an amazing pegasus pendant from local designer Grainne Maher. Check out her jewellery on the Pluck & Devour website - stunning!

At the event, it was great to meet up with my Fashion & Beauty Blogger (FABB) friends. We have a Facebook Group (set up by the lovely Katrina Doran from Sugahfix), where we can discuss blogging and network with each other so it was lovely to meet 7 of the bloggers tonight...
